I was tired of carrying rucksack
loaded with down jacket, books some eatery thing which I think will be helpful
during trekking but at a point I felt pointless of carrying things when you are at 5140 meter above sea level and 47.9 km of walking and the weight pushes you downward while heading up.
Walking that much with stuff
suitable you think with extra necessary stuff like camera and extra lenses is
much hard then you had imagined.
I was at Gorakshep heading towards Everest
base camp wondering how could be every place name stick in its tail with ‘che’ that
sound when the local speaks: Namche-Tyangboche-Pangboche-Dingouche-Pheriche-Lobuche-Gorapche
and Gorapche (Gorakshep) is the last station of hotel area that leads to base
camp. Thought came to catch some thin air and pointed my lens towards world’s
top peak which can't be capture from base camp. In the mean time ‘Tong-Tong’ melancholic bell sound made my neck turn north-east and there appears a caravan of Yak with the bell hanged in neck.
‘Yak’ the main means of
transportation for the locals of northern belt of the ‘Solukhumbu’ district to
Nepal. Local use Yaks to carry food, grains and other necessary goods for
domestic purposes and business purposes in the locality as well as to the Mt.
Everest base camp.
Like camel is the ship of the
desert, I say Yak is the ship of mountain.
So, took some snap of the creature that
carries the physical adaptability in high altitude which was heading towards me
from base camp carrying stuff of the mountaineers and tourist.
